Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to support women in STEM, with a focus on women in computer science, and to raise awareness about the issues that affect them. We also want to provide women with resources to help them succeed in STEM. We will do this by analyzing statistics that affect women in STEM and providing women with resources to help them learn to code.
About Us
Nicky (sophomore) (Data collection & cleaning / Back-End): collecting public sets, cleaning/joining CSVs; developing with R and Python, the former for data analysis and the latter for training machine to do data predictions
Michelle (freshman) (UI / Front-End): logo design; implemented front-end structure to CSS and HTML to optimize user interface
Angelina (sophomore) (UI / Front-End): implemented front-end structure to JavaScript and HTML to optimize user interface; link GeminiAI API to the user interface
Katie (sophomore) (Data collection & cleaning / Back-End): collecting public sets, cleaning/joining CSVs; developing with R to analyze data into readable graph
